I recently spent a couple of days hiking with my brothers in Rocky Mountain National Park. Here's a pic.

I finally bought a copy of Sibley's bird book. I've been happy with the National Geographic book, but like to have several references. What I noticed is that they seriously over-cooked the rust tones in the plates. The eastern ruddy grown dove looks like its on fire -- bright orange. I'm wondering if I should return it.
