Anne Ghisla has built a home range analysis plugin for QGIS. The plugin works on point layers by passing them to R via RPy. Results are written out to shapefiles which you can then import into your QGIS session. Anne is my OSGeo "Summer of Code" student and has done a terrific job on the plugin. All the credit goes to Anne owing to my crazy schedule. Fortunately she has been able to make good use of the distributed expertise available in the FOSS community. Now for some testing!
