Involuntarily signed up for myspace

So one day I get the following email:

Now I am signed up for myspace completely against my will! I then send an email to their abuse address and get the following reply:

Someone used my email address (tkeitt@gmail.com) to subscribe to myspace.
I forwarded the emails to your privacy address (apparently a bot)
explaining that I had not attempted to create an account and got back a
message saying "your email has now been verified. welcome to myspace!" I am more than a little pissed. Please remove any account using the email address tkeitt@gmail.com. Thanks.

I did get a reply which I cannot find. Basically they just said you will have to cancel it yourself. This requires email verification and 3 trips to the cancel page with big buttons "Don't cancel my account" and "I'm very very sorry, but I really do want to cancel my account." I hate that sort of monkey business.
