The following is from an email to one of my undergraduate students in response for feedback on her application to medical school. I am not an expert on applying to medical school. These are just some thoughts stemming from lessons I've learned in grant writing that may apply. I'm posting this online just in case it is useful to others.
I will be hosting along with David Davidson a workshop on landscape connectivity at UT Austin. The target audience is conservation managers and landscape planners. The goal is to introduce basic concepts of landscape connectivity analysis and discuss ways in which these methods could be applied to regional conservation planning in the state of Texas. Participation is by invitation only. Please contact me or David Davidson about attending.
